Rock Star Event Poster 1

This is my first go at a poster for a project. We were working with Rock Star Supply Co. [link] who recruit tutors and help students in St. Paul and the surrounding area. They are throwing an event in January and needed a brand/identity for it. My group came up with Raise the youth, playing off of the older saying "raise the roof" and kids raising their hands in class. So we went with hands as our main element.
